Our challenge was to create a fun and
interesting presence for Investec Bank at the annual Australian Dental
Association (ADA) Congress.
Investec is involved in a number of rugby related sponsorships as rugby has a great reach within our 3 key geographies, Australia, England and South Africa.In rugby, you go from absolute passion to comradery and friendship in the space of a few hours, and Investec are proud to have a brand present in that context. To leverage this, we created an interactive rugby themed stand complete with a miniature field of imitation grass, goal posts and rugby balls to entertain! Delegates took home photos of themselves starring on the cover of a fictitious rugby magazine, along with branded jerseys and miniature rugby balls, while contact details were captured with a fun trivia card to fill in for a grand prize draw – flights, accommodation and tickets to the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
The creative execution on the day was
flawless and Investec interacted with over 2,000 people at the congress – 460
of those being potential clients. Staff and prospects loved the concept which
was a real talking point, keeping spirits high and bringing Investec sales and
marketing teams closer together.
