Bang's client Investec generously supported Tour de Cure 2011 to the
tune of $10,000. The cheque handover took place at the official farewell of the
Tour held in Martin Place. Claire Linton-Evans from Investec was all smiles as
she made her debut presenting the cheque to Mark Beretta live on
Sunrise, Channel 7.
The $10,000 adds to the total raised this year of nearly $1.9 mill!
Tour de Cure is now in its fifth year and relies on corporate sponsorship as well as private donations to raise money for cancer research.
This
year’s course ran from Sydney to Melbourne, with participants riding 1500km
through the Snowy Mountains to reach then end. This is the second year Martin
Mason, MD of Bang has ridden in the Tour.
