Following a
successful partnership dating back to the launch of the ASX/200 index in 2001, S&P
Indices and ASX joined forces again to launch Australia's first
independently-produced range of Fixed Income Indices in October 2011.
Following a
multi-agency pitch, Bang worked closely with S&P Indices in Sydney and Hong
Kong to create a mixed-media campaign to launch the new range of indices and
re-emphasise the broad range of index offerings from S&P/ASX.
The campaign was
built around the financial insights that S&P/ASX indices provide to
investors – cutting through the information clutter to provide all that they
need to know to benchmark their investment performance. Bang's campaign
used S&P Indices' fresh new logo and brand theme across two bold design executions
to deliver the message of simplicity in a distinct and concise way.
Working with media-buying
partner DWA, Bang rolled out the integrated advertising campaign across key
financial publishing titles, including prominent placements in The Sydney Morning
Herald, The Age, The Australian and The AFR. It was supported by an online
campaign and was also extended to Out-of-Home lift and lobby placements in key
locations across Sydney and Melbourne CBDs.
Following the
successful launch campaign, Bang is currently working with S&P Indices to
extend the campaign in early 2012 with print executions in targeted
publications, a wider-reaching online campaign and an interactive mobile site
which will be accessible via a QR code on print ad placements.
